The Maglić massif presents an exhilarating hiking experience with its two impressive peaks: Veliki Maglić at 2,386 meters on the Bosnian side and Crnogorski Maglić at 2,388 meters in Montenegro. Day 1: Saturday, May 17th
Flight from Luton Airport at 16:15 to Sarajevo Airport, arriving at 19:55.
Hire cars upon arrival and grab food for the journey.
Drive towards Maglić Mountain (approx. 3-hour drive).
Stop at a store to buy food for breakfast and snacks.
Overnight stay in apartments (4-5 people per apartment).
Day 2: Sunday, May 18th
07:00 AM – Wake up, have breakfast, and prepare for the day.
08:00 AM – Check out of accommodation.
Drive to Maglić Mountain hike starting point (under 1-hour).
09:00 AM – Start the hike (approx. 6 hours, 4 miles round trip).
Visit the highest peak in Bosnia and Montenegro.
Challenging but rewarding hike with stunning views.
04:00 PM – Leave hiking area and stop for food en route to Sarajevo.
07:30 PM – Arrive in Sarajevo, check-in, and rest.
Day 3: Monday, May 19th
08:00 AM – Wake up and have breakfast.
09:00 AM – Depart for Mostar (approx. 2-hour drive).
Highlights in Mostar:
Visit Stari Most (Old Bridge).
Explore the Old Bazaar and local markets.
Walk along the Neretva River and enjoy the views.
Experience traditional Bosnian cuisine.
07:00 PM – Drive back to Sarajevo (approx. 2-hour drive).
Evening – Arrive and rest.
Day 4: Tuesday, May 20th
08:00 AM – Wake up and have breakfast.
09:00 AM – Check out and explore Sarajevo.
Key Attractions:
Baščaršija (Old Bazaar) – Traditional shops and eateries.
Gazi Husrev-beg Mosque – A historic and cultural landmark.
Latin Bridge – Site of Archduke Franz Ferdinand’s assassination.
05:00 PM – Head to the airport, return hire vehicles.
08:30 PM – Flight departs Sarajevo to Luton.
10:25 PM – Arrive at Luton Airport.
